LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Steven R. Doss, 44, of Lafayette, formerly of Central City, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at his home. He was born in Lafayette, graduated from Harrison High School, received his bachelor of arts degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College, his Master's degree from Western Kentucky University; and worked one year toward his Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky. He was employed as circulation director for the USA Today in Las Vegas, had been a newspaper publisher with Worrell Newspapers and had also been an adolescent counselor in Owensboro, KY.
