Born at Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Okla., June 10, 1955, the son of Harold H. and Doris A. Davis Hicks, he had lived in the Lafayette area since 1967.
He was a 1973 graduate of Harrison High School and a self-employed contractor.
Surviving besides his parents of West Lafayette, are his companion, Robin England, with whom he resided; a brother, Jay D. Hicks of West Lafayette, and a sister, Wendy Allen-Darling of Lafayette.

Funeral services at HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Chuck Grant officiating, with interment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are 2 nieces, Anna Ross and Paula Chapman; a nephew Jayson Hicks; 2 great-nieces, Ahlexa and Ava Ross.
